This product is a specialized measuring instrument developed for pollution flashover prevention in power systems, designed to measure the Equivalent Salt Deposit Density (hereinafter referred to as "ESDD") on insulator surfaces, as well as solution conductivity and temperature. With its high measurement accuracy, intuitive readings, wide measurement range, and user-friendly operation, the device is widely used in power, education, research, and related industries.
The classification of pollution levels and creation of pollution distribution maps form the foundation of pollution flashover prevention. Accurate pollution distribution maps serve as the basis for determining the creepage distance of electrical porcelain insulation in transmission and transformation equipment. The ESDD value on insulator surfaces provides quantitative data for assessing pollution severity of electrical porcelain insulation, serving as a crucial reference for pollution classification and pollution zone mapping. Therefore, ESDD measurement plays a significant role in ensuring power system safety.
